Cordelia O’Neill is a reporter and features writer for 1919 Magazine. She covers a range of topics around criminal justice and policing in Scotland, and reports on how frontline policing is affected by wider policy. She has a particular interest in women in the justice system.

Cordelia’s stories have included reporting on Scotland’s first prison parkrun, exploring the impact of cancelled rest days on officers, and diving into the data behind Police Scotland’s recruitment and retention. Before joining 1919 Magazine, she was external affairs lead at Scottish Women’s Aid and Scotland correspondent for the Press Association. Cordelia is also an account director at Quantum Communications.
