Laura Paterson has worked for more than 15 years in journalism, most recently as Scotland editor for national news agency PA Media. She has an in-depth knowledge of the media in Scotland and across the UK.

In her five years running PA’s Scotland office, Laura was responsible for all the multimedia editorial output on the Scottish newswire. Before becoming editor, she spent more than two years reporting on politics for PA at Holyrood and served as news editor and a multimedia reporter. Starting her journalism career at crime magazine The Digger, Laura has worked at the Press and Journal, Sunday Mail and The Times. She is a senior account manager at Quantum Communications.
